After about 4 hours of negotiating streams, ash-laden paths and rocks we finally arrived at our destination, the crater of Mt. Pinatubo. We would've gotten there faster but our group kept on stopping for photo opportunities. Sabi ko nga eh, "Para lang tayo naglalakad sa Mall."

The crater lake, or caldera is unbelievable blue. Or aqua. Or turquoise. When we got there, we spent almost 30 minutes just staring at it. It was all worth it.

Not to mention kakatapos pa lang ng new moon (jan 8)... the 19-20 sched is about 2 nights before a full moon which should be perfect for night shots...
